ENERGAS service specialists carried out comprehensive maintenance of booster compressor station at the GTU-CHPP in Balashikha

23 March 2026

The gas booster station consists of three block-modular units based on screw oil-filled compressors.

At the site of the gas turbine power plant in Balashikha, engineers from ServicENERGAS (ENERGAS Group) carried out comprehensive maintenance of the booster compressor units. These BCUs ensure the treatment and supply of fuel gas to the gas turbines of the GTU-CHPP. As part of the annual maintenance, the following service activities were performed:

- Replacement of consumables (gas and oil filters, oil in the bearings of the motors);
- Diagnostics of the automated control systems of BCU and adjustment of their parameters;
- Testing of safety systems (gas and fire detection, alarm, fire extinguishing);
- Check the alignment of rotating units (compressors and motors);
- Gaps measure and checking the status of the internal components of the compressors;
- Adjustment and calibration of position sensors and positioning of valves and hydraulic controllers;
- Functional tests of the oil system and cooling system of the compressor units;
- Verification of operational parameters of the BCU and their adjustment;
- Troubleshooting, drafting recommendations on components replacement.
