In the framework of the new 3-year agreement with PJSC Sakhalinenergo, the service engineers perform comprehensive maintenance of the fuel supply system for the gas-turbine power generating units of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk CHPP-1.

For the normal operation and full working out of the resource of process equipment, timely maintenance is required, as well as, if necessary, upgrade, completion, current or overhaul repairs.

In the ENERGAS Group, these functions are fulfilled by the service and technical company created in 2008. Just since the beginning of this year, the mobile groups of ServicENERGAS experts have carried out about 100 trips to conduct specialized activities at various facilities, including remote and hard-to-reach, especially dangerous and technically complex.



There is being actively expanded Program on the provision of long-term maintenance services. There was signed a number of the long-term contracts (up to 36 months) for post-warranty maintenance of gas treatment and compression units. Such contracts are concluded with regard to equipment of own production and to equipment of other manufacturers and suppliers.

So, for example, in the framework of the new 3-year agreement with PJSC Sakhalinenergo, the service engineers perform comprehensive maintenance of the gas treatment and fuel supply system for the 4th and 5th gas-turbine power generating units of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk CHPP-1, the largest energy source in the Sakhalin Region.

The ENERGAS multifunctional system, which includes a block-type gas treatment station and a gas booster station consisting of five two-stage compressor units, provides the specified design parameters of the fuel in terms of purity, temperature, pressure, and flow rate.



Routine maintenance works are carried out here according to the schedule coordinated with the customer – every 4,000 hours of operating time. Also ServicENERGAS supplies a complete set of required spare parts, components and consumables.

Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk CHPP-1 is largest energy source and one of the key life support facilities of the Sakhalin. The station supplies electricity to two-thirds of the island, provides heat to largest settlement – the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, as well as maintains the sustainability of the power grid of the entire region.

The 4th power unit with a capacity of 139.1 MW was put into operation on October 12, 2013. It operates in a cogeneration cycle and provides combined energy generation. GTU-139.1 was created on the basis of three GE gas turbine units of type LM6000 PF Sprint with a capacity of 46.36 MW each and three KUV-50-150 hot-water waste-heat boilers.

The 5th power unit with an electrical capacity of 91.2 MW was put into operation on August 29, 2012. It operates in a simple cycle. The main equipment of GTU-91.2 is two LM6000 PD Sprint gas turbine units with a capacity of 45.58 MW each.
