A major oil production center of JSC Tomskneft achieved a 95% level of rational use of associated gas
9 December 2019
Tomskneft commissioned two vacuum compressor stations (VСS) at the Dvurechenskoye field to transport compressed gas to a gas turbine power plant. These VСSs allowed bringing the level of beneficial use of associated petroleum gas to the target benchmark (95%) at the Dvurechenskoye and Karasiovskoye fields. Currently, nine vacuum СS are operating at the production sites of the enterprise. In total, since 2007, 10 facilities were built and commissioned, including 3 gas turbine power plants (GTPP) with a total capacity of 43.5 MW, as part of the Tomskneft gas program. This allows Tomskneft to use associated gas to generate electric and thermal energy, which increases the efficiency of oil and gas production, and also helps to ease-off the stress on the environment and improve the environmental situation in the production regions.
The ENERGAS Companies Group made a significant contribution to the implementation of the gas program. At the preliminary water removal units of Sovietskoye (PWRU-3, PWRU-9) and Vakhskoye (PWRU-4, PWRU-5) fields of the Tomskneft there are 4 ENERGAS vacuum compressor stations.

VСSs compress the associated gas of the second separation stage from a pressure close to vacuum (0.001 ... 0.01 MPa) to the gas pressure of the first separation stage (0.6 MPa) for transportation to the gas distribution station and gas compressor station GCS "Vakh".
The ENERGAS Group also supplied and commissioned a booster compressor station for the GTPP-12 at Igolsko-Talovoye field. BCS in hangar version provides additional purification, compression and supply of APG to gas turbines of the power plant.

REFERENCE. JSC Tomskneft carries out oil and gas production at 32 licensed sites in the Tomsk Region and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, as well as at three sites of Rosneft Oil Company as an operator. Among the most significant fields are Nizhnevartovsk, Strezhevskoye, Vakhskoye, Luginetskoye, Olenye, Sovietskoye, Krapivinskoye, Dvurechenskoye, Igolsko-Talovoye, Pervomaiskoye. Rosneft and Gazprom Neft equally control the company.
