Since the end of 2018, in the city of Yelabuga (Republic of Tatarstan), a modern thermal power plant, created on the basis of gas turbine technologies, has been operating at the site of a local Heat Network Company. GTU-TPP has electrical capacity of about 20 MW and thermal capacity of 28 Gcal / h.

The main equipment of GTU-TPP consists of four gas turbine units Solar of type Taurus 60 GS with a unit capacity of 5.6 MW and four hot-water waste-heat boilers. The fuel for turbines is natural gas.



As a part of power plant there is operates ENERGAS gas treatment system (GTS) which provides designed parameters of gas on purity, temperature, and pressure and flow rate. GTS comprises a gas treatment unit and a booster compressor station consisting of two units.

At present, the regular scheduled maintenance (MNT) of this equipment is completed. All the units, operating as a part of GTS, underwent MNT-8000. The following activities were conducted as planned:

- Replacement of consumables of the compressor units and gas treatment unit;
- Change of filtering elements of the separation systems;
- Diagnosis of local automated control systems;
- Correction of the gas flow meters;
- Functional tests of the all utility systems;
- Verification of operational parameters and their adjustment;
- Troubleshooting, drafting recommendations on components replacement.

At the time of MNT, the operating time of each compressor unit and gas treatment unit has been more than 8,000 hours. Scheduled works were carried out by the specialists of ServicENERGAS belonging to the ENERGAS Group.
