The equipment from the ENERGAS Company provides reliable operation of the "small" compressor stations at the Surgutneftegas fields

27 November 2019

As part of the Program of measures for the use of associated petroleum gas of PJSC Surgutneftegas, the "small" compressor stations (CS) have been operating at the Bittemskoye and Ulyanovskoye fields since November 27, 2009. These CS carry out offtake and transportation of gas from the end stages of oil separation, that allows reach the maximum level of the rational recovery of APG.

Bittemskaya CS comprises 3 compressor units (CU) with capacity of 12 thousand m3 / h for pumping low-pressure associated gas. Inlet gas pressure is 0.3 MPa; outlet pressure is 2.5 MPa.

In structure of the compressor station at the Ulyanovskoye field, there are 2 CUs, which provide compression of APG from 0.25 to 2.5 MPa and its injection into the transport gas pipeline. The capacity of each unit is 2,500 m3 / h.

All the CUs are made on the basis of screw oil-filled compressors, are fully automated and placed in their own enclosures of arctic type. Block-modules of units are equipped with life support systems (heating, ventilation, and lighting) and safety systems (fire detection and fire extinguishing, gas detection, alarm).

The aftertreatment of APG (2-step removal of liquid fraction and solid particles) at the inlet is carried out by highly efficient coalescing filters-scrubbers integrated in CUs modules and equipped with automatic condensate drainage system.

Operation mode of the CU as part of the facilities of oil and gas production complex is nonstop with scheduled shutdowns for maintenance. Commissioning of the equipment was performed by LLC ENERGAS. In total, 85 gas-booster units of various modifications, supplied by this company, operate at Surgutneftegas facilities.

To ensure the maximum level of the associated petroleum gas usage, the most advanced equipment is used in all Surgutneftegas fields. Particular attention is paid to the production activities in the field of gas production and transportation; to the increase in the volume of gas processing and the generation of electricity at their power plants. According to this important benchmark, Surgutneftegas has been a leader among the largest resource companies for several years.

REFERENCE. PJSC Surgutneftegas is one of the largest private companies in Russia, operating based on vertically integrated oil companies; it combines in its structure scientific and project establishments, geological exploration, drilling, extracting, oil and gas processing enterprises, as well as marketing units. The company operates in the field of prospecting, exploration and extraction of hydrocarbon raw materials in three oil and gas provinces of Russia – West Siberian, East Siberian and Timan-Pechora. Production divisions of the company are supplied with advanced technologies and equipment adapted to local mining, geological and climatic conditions, allowing to perform the full range of necessary work independently.

REFERENCE. Bittemskoye oil field was put into development in 1999. The increase in production was due to intensive drilling. By the middle of 2002, the first million tons of oil was produced at the field. The Ulyanovskoye oil field was put into commercial development in 2003. It is named in honor of the People's Artist of the USSR, the Mikhail Ulyanov. Both fields are located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area.
