In the Lensky Area of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) a new thermal power plant is being built – Novolenskaya TPP. By 2028, three steam power units with an electrical capacity of 185 MW each will be constructed. The main equipment of each power generating unit will include the KT-185/196-12.8 steam turbine (Ural Turbine Works), TZFP-210-2UZ turbo generator (Power Machines), and E-620-13.8/3.25-545/545 GD power steam boiler (Inter RAO - Engineering).The fuel will be natural gas from the Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field (SBNGCM).

The process equipment manufactured by ENERGAS will integrate into the gas supply structure of the TPP: a commercial gas metering station, an automated gas distribution station, and a gas-control station.

The gas metering station (CGMS) will be installed at the initial section of the main gas pipeline "SBNGCM Comprehensive Gas Treatment Plant – Novolenskaya TPP" in order to measure the volume and control the parameters of natural gas directed to the power plant.

The gas distribution station (AGDS) is a multifunctional complex consisting of several block-modular units, designed for filtration, heating and pressure reduction of the gas incoming to the power facility site.



The gas-control station (GCS) will ensure the final treatment of the gas to the specified design parameters and the separate supply of fuel to the steam boilers of the TPP power generating units and to the starting and heating boiler plant.

The maximum throughput of the CGMS, AGDS and GCS is 178,160; 166,000; and 157,789 Nm3 / h respectively. All equipment has been designed taking into account extreme operating conditions (the average air temperature during the coldest five-day period is -50°C).

ENERGAS process units are supplied with a high degree of prefabrication what further significantly reduces the duration of the construction and mounting works as well as commissioning works.

Novolenskaya TPP is assigned a strategic role in the development of the economy of Eastern Siberia and the Russian Far East. The power plant with the total capacity of 550 MW will become a source of power supply for the Eastern Polygon of Russian Railways (RZD) – a key element of the future Eurasian transport system. In addition, the new power facility will provide a serious impulse for the active development of the mineral resource base of Yakutia and the Irkutsk Region.
