The operating time of the ENERGAS system at the Yarega power supply complex exceeded 15 thousand hours

28 September 2020

The auxiliary power supply complex of the Yarega field of LUKOIL-Komi LLC was put into operation in October 2017. The GTU-CHPP operates in the cogeneration cycle and provides energy resources to production and infrastructure facilities of the field.

Installed capacity of Yarega power supply complex capacity amounts to 75 MW for electricity and 91 Gcal / h for heat. GTU-CHPP comprises three power unit, each of which is based on a GTE-25PA gas turbine unit with a capacity of 25 MW and a steam waste-heat boiler with productivity of 40 t / h. As fuel, natural gas is used.

The fuel supply for power generating units is carried out by the ENERGAS process system, which guarantees the required quality of gas in accordance with the specified design parameters for purity, temperature, pressure and flow rate. The main elements of system are a block-type gas treatment station (BGTS) and a compressor station (BCS) consisting of four booster units.

Comprehensive maintenance of this equipment is performed by the engineers of ServicENERGAS, which is part of the ENERGAS Group. Scheduled works are carried out according to the schedule coordinated with the customer. In addition, ServicENERGAS supplies a complete set of consumables.

The another maintenance (according to the Regulation-8000) took place here in September. All the units, operating as a part of gas treatment system, underwent maintenance.

The following activities were conducted as planned:

- Replacement of consumables of the compressor units and gas treatment station;
- Change of filtering elements of the separation systems of BCS and BGTS;
- Diagnosis of local automated control systems;
- Correction of the gas flow meters;
- Functional tests of the all utility systems;
- Verification of operational parameters and their adjustment;
- Troubleshooting, drafting recommendations on components replacement.

At the time of maintenance, the operating time of each compressor unit and block-type gas treatment station exceeded 15,000 hours.
