Its own GTU-TPP has been commissioned at the Kastamonu Plant in Tatarstan

The Kastamonu Plant, located in the special economic zone of Alabuga (Republic of Tatarstan), is Europe's largest enterprise for the production of laminate flooring and wood panels MDF / HDF.To supply the production with its own energy resources, a gas-turbine thermal power plant, an autonomous GTU-TPP, has been put into operation here. Electric power is generated by a gas turbine unit, created on the basis of the GE turbine of LM2500+G4 DLE type. The installed capacity of GTU is 25 MW (rated capacity is 30 MW).

The factory GTU-TPP also includes a waste heat boiler, the heat capacity of which is used to provide production processes. At the site of power supply complex, there is operates boiler house for generating additional amounts of heat. The fuel for turbine GE and boiler house for own needs is natural gas.
The structure of the new power facility comprises a special gas treatment and fuel supply system: a booster compressor unit, a block-type gas treatment station and a reduction unit. This process equipment was supplied and commissioned by ENERGAS.
