At three facilities of the Komsomolskneft oil and gas production department (OGPD) there are commissioned booster compressor stations of low pressure

29 December 2010

There is completed the next implementation stage of the Program of measures on use of associated petroleum gas of Surgutneftegas OJSC. In December of current year at two booster pump stations (BPS) and oil processing and pumping shop (OPPS) of the Komsomolskneft oil and gas production department there were commissioned booster compressor stations of low pressure.

As a part of these BCS there are operate seven compressor units (CU) with capacity of 1,000 m3 / h each. Two CUs are at the BPS-1, three CUs are at BPS-2, another two CUs are at the OPPS site. Booster pump stations are located at the Konitlor oil field; OPPS area belongs to the Fedorovskoye oil and gas field.

Units carry out compressing associated gas from the end separation stage and injection it into transport gas pipeline under pressure of 0.8 MPa.

Project’s feature is inlet gas pressure close to vacuum (0...0.09 MPa). It was taken into account at the design and production stages; some elements of the CUs were upgraded (for example, inlet and outlet valves), as well as it was installed additional equipment – system of oxygen detection in gas flow.

Compressor units correspond to the climatic conditions of Western Siberia and operational requirements adopted at the facilities of Surgutneftegas OJSC.

Supply and commissioning of gas-booster units were performed by the company ENERGAS.
