At Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field there is put into operation a gas turbine power plant
15 April 2009
In April 2009, LLC LUKOIL-West Siberia (a subsidiary of OJSC LUKOIL) commissioned a gas turbine power plant at the Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field, which is being developed by the Kogalymneftegaz territorial production enterprise.
The commissioning of own generation facility completely eliminates energy shortages in this large, dynamically developing field. Planned gas consumption by the GTPP turbines will amount to more than 100 million cubic meters per year, which makes it possible to rationally use a significant part of associated petroleum gas produced here.
The construction of the facility began in May 2008 under the Program for improving the reliability of power supply for the oil and gas production and gas processing companies of OJSC LUKOIL for 2008-2010. The installed capacity of power plant is 48 MW. GTPP includes four EGES-12S-01 power generating units (CJSC Iskra-Energetika) based on GTU-12PG-2 gas turbine units produced by OJSC Aviadvigatel.
Treatment of associated gas as a fuel is carried out by the booster compressor station (BCS) of the hangar type. It consists of three compressor units (CU) with a capacity of 15,000 m3 / h each. BCS compresses gas from 0.35 MPa to 2.7 MPa for subsequent feed into turbines.

For final purification of APG there are intended filters-scrubbers, which are located at the inlet to the CU and perform 2-step removal of liquid fractions and solid particles. The efficiency of the filter elements is 100% for contaminations larger than 20 microns and 97% for particles 5...20 microns in size.
At the discharge line of the CU there is built gas coolers so as to cool gas below the dew-point in order to separate condensate formed. Then the gas flows to the heaters, which maintain the design temperature of the fuel feeding to the turbines.
Each compressor unit is equipped with a two-level system of capacity control and automated control system.

The supply of equipment and the entire complex of pre-start operations, including erection supervision, start-up and adjustment works, and tests, were performed by ENERGAS.
Tevlinsko-Russkinskaya GTPP is the second facility of this type at the fields of LLC LUKOIL-West Siberia. In the spring of 2008, the first stage of the largest own generation facility in KhMAO-Yugra, a 72 MW gas turbine power plant in the Vatyegan field, was commissioned.
REFERENCE. Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye is a large oil field. It located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, 88 km north of the city of Surgut. Opened in 1971, development began in 1986. The development is being carried out by Kogalymneftegaz TPE – the largest territorial production enterprise of LLC LUKOIL-West Siberia.
The field belongs to the West Siberian province. Oil reserves – 1.5 billion tons. The density of oil is 0.850 g / cm3 or 34 ° API. The sulfur content is 1.04%.
Oil production at the field in 2008 amounted to 8.608 million tons. The Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye deposit is the largest deposit of LUKOIL in Russia in terms of production volumes.
