At Pyakyakhinskaya CS, the electrical equipment for medium-pressure compressor units is ready for operation
18 January 2017
Pyakyakha oil and gas condensate field is being equipped with petroleum gas compressor station (CS) which will ensure the gathering of APG from various production facilities of the field and its transportation. As part of the CS, the four medium-pressure compressor units (CUs) from ENERGAS will operate. The units, made based on screw oil-filled compressors, are intended to pumping associated gas of the first separation stage incoming from the oil treatment plant.

The maximum capacity of each CU is 16,180 m3 / h. To measure of compressed APG amount, all the machines are additionally equipped with gas metering assemblies with flow meters.
For these units, ENERGAS has supplied indoor switchgear (with a voltage of 10 kV) and frequency converter of main electric motors (drives). Switchgear will provide power supply, and the converter will ensure smooth start of units and step-less regulation of their capacity. Electrical equipment is placed in a separate enclosure and corresponds to the Russian standards on fire resistance, fire and explosion safety, seismic impact, electromagnetic compatibility.
At present there have been completed adjustment and individual testing of this equipment. This allows specialists of ServicENERGAS to conduct a full range of pre-start works and tests of the compressor units and put their into operation in a timely manner.
