At the site of CS of Pyakyakha field, there have been commissioned four medium-pressure compressor units

Pyakyakha oil and gas condensate field of the LUKOIL-West Siberia LLC has been equipped with compressor station (CS) for gathering and transportation of associated petroleum gas. As a part of CS, there will be operate nine compressor units (CU) of various types and purposes, which were supplied by the company ENERGAS.Four of these CU – medium-pressure units – are intended for compression up to 3.0 MPa of the associated gas (from first separation stage) which comes from the oil treatment plant. Capacity of each CU is 16,180 m3 / h; gas flow rate is controlled by means of the two-tier regulation system.

Block-modular units were designed to meet the extreme operating conditions (minimum air temperature is minus 56°C, average air temperature of the coldest five-day period is minus 46°C).
These CUs operate in automatic mode; they are equipped with life support systems and safety systems. To measure of compressed APG amount all the units are additionally equipped with gas metering stations with flow meters.
Together with compressor units, the company ENERGAS has supplied indoor switchgear (with a voltage of 10 kV) and frequency converter of main electric motors (drives). Switchgear provides power supply, and the converter insures soft start of machines. Electrical equipment is placed in a separate enclosure and corresponds to the Russian standards on fire resistance, fire and explosion safety, seismic impact, electromagnetic compatibility.
Commissioning of the units took place after a 72-hour comprehensive testing as a part of the facility. The whole set of pre-operational works, including erection supervision, starting-up and adjustment, individual tests of CU, was performed by the engineers of ServicENERGAS LLC (ENERGAS Group).

REFERENCE. Development of Pyakyakha field is the second project for the production of hydrocarbons, which LUKOIL-West Siberia has implemented in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area. The company started commercial production of gas in YNAA in 2005, when Nakhodkinskoye field was put into operation.
Pyakyakha field refers to the most promising fields of Bolshekhetskaya Depression. Its reserves for the beginning of 2014 are 69.5 million tons of oil and 234.2 billion cubic meter of gas.
