At the GTPP of the Tromyegan field of OJSC Surgutneftegas, a booster compressor station started operation
16 April 2007
The construction of the gas turbine power plant of Tromyegan field is completed.

The new GTPP became the thirteenth own power plant, operating on the oil fields of Surgutneftegas. To date, the total capacity of the company's generating equipment has reached about 340 MW. Until 2010, it is planned to increase this figure to 500 megawatts of own capacities.
The technical basis of the plant consists of two gas turbine units GTA-6RM, designed and manufactured by NPO Saturn and OJSC Saturn-Gas Turbines. The installed capacity of the GTPP is 12 MW.

As fuel, associated petroleum gas coming from the last stages of separation is used. The implementation of the project will make it possible to increase the share of APG recovery at the Surgutneftegas production facilities to 93.5%.
Commissioning, own and integrated tests of the booster compressor station of the hangar type were carried out at the GTPP. Three compressor units have been put into operation that purify and compress associated gas up to 1.7 MPa for its subsequent feeding to the turbines.
Units (pictured below) are created on the basis of screw oil-filled compressors using a reliable multi-stage filtration system, thanks to which gas at the outlet meets the highest requirements for purity.
