At GTPP-12 of Igolsko-Talovoye field there was commissioned booster compressor station of ENERGAS

OJSC Tomskneft continues to meet the challenges that make it possible to full use of the potential of the region's fields and increase the level of associated petroleum gas use. Start-up and adjustment works and testing of a booster compressor station were completed at the new GTPP-12 MW of the Igolsko-Talovoye field.ENERGAS engineers commissioned two compressor units (CU) designed for APG final purification, compression up to 2.5 MPa and its subsequent feeding to gas turbines. The high prefabrication level of the equipment allowed the specialists of ENERGAS LLC to minimize the terms of the erection and adjustment to a minimum.
The compressor station will operate as part of the oil and gas production facility in continuous operation mode. In accordance with the project, CUs are located in separate capital building which equipped with life support and safety systems.

The units are equipped with two-level capacity control systems, individual ACS, as well as a group system of automated control and monitoring integrated into the APCS of gas turbine power plant.
Final gas purification at the inlet to each compressor is provided by highly efficient separators – two-stage filters-scrubbers with automatic drainage system. It is possible to quickly replace filter elements.
Compressor units also maintain the design temperature of fuel feeding to the combustion chambers of turbines. The capacity (gas flow rate) of each CU is 5,895 m3 / h.

GTPP-12 MW serves not only to meet the needs of the Igolsko-Talovoye field in electricity, but also provides reliable power supply for other facilities of OJSC Tomskneft in the Vasyugan group of fields.
The fuel for the power plant is associated petroleum gas from the Igolsko-Talovoye, Karayskoye and Tagayskoye oil fields of the Tomsk Region.
As the main equipment of GTPP, two block-container GTA-6RM gas turbine units with a capacity of 6 MW (designed and produced by OJSC Saturn-Gas turbines and NPO Saturn) are used. The power plant is the second stage of construction of generating capacities at this field.

Earlier there was built GTPP-24 MW using four GTE-6 / 6.3. This plant, commissioned in July 2004, was one of the first in Russia, adapted to work on associated petroleum gas. It is planned that after its upgrade the volumes of gas processing in the region will reach 79 million cubic meters per year, and the percentage of APG use will increase to 95.
