The implementation of the Program of measures for the use of associated petroleum gas of OJSC Surgutneftegas is continuing. On one of the facilities of Nizhnesortymskneft oil and gas production department (a BPS of the Ai-Pim field), the adjustment works and tests of the booster compressor station have been completed.

ENERGAS engineers commissioned 4 compressor units (CU) that will operate as part of the oil and gas production facility in continuous operation mode.



CUs are designed to compress associated petroleum gas coming from the BPS and for its further supply to the transport gas pipeline to the compressor station of Lyantor field. The capacity of each CU is 12 thousand m3 / h.

The units are housed in their own enclosures of arctic type and are equipped with life support systems, gas and fire detection systems, and alarm and firefighting systems. The high prefabrication level of the equipment allowed ENERGAS specialists to minimize the terms of erection and start-up and adjustment works.

REFERENCE. The Ai-Pim oil field was put into production in 1993, but was soon suspended due to low production results. However, the second oil-bearing stratum, located below the first at a depth of 3 thousand meters and turned out to be very productive, was later explored. Due to geological features, a complex field development system was designed and implemented.

Nizhnesortymskneft OGPD – the most northern Oil and Gas Production Department of Surgutneftegas OJSC – was established in 1989. The peculiarities of the enterprise include oil production in difficult, unique conditions of the marshland. Today, OGPD is developing 18 fields, which is one third of all Surgutneftegas fields. The main part of the reserves is low-permeability oil deposits.
