Compressor station of Muryaun field has supplemented the list of existing "small" CS at OJSC Surgutneftegas
29 March 2014
Compressor station (CS) of Muryaun field of OJSC Surgutneftegas is created on the basis of three booster compressor units (BCU) of screw type.
CS is commissioned after integrated 72-hour testing as a part of the facility of oil and gas complex. The facility has been designed by institute SurgutNIPIneft. Construction was performed by Intra-field Petroleum Gas Gathering and Utilization Division (UVSING) and construction and erection department No.10 of Construction and Erection Trust-1.
BCU have been supplied by the company ENERGAS in individual all-weather shelters. Units operate in automatic mode, equipped with life support and safety systems. Capacity of each BCU is 12,000 m3 / h, which allows provide design capacity of the station in volume of 315 million m3 / year. Erection supervision and pre-commissioning works at compressor units were carried out by engineers of LLC ServicENERGAS (part of ENERGAS Group).
In addition to the three BCUs in packaged design, the station is also equipped with the necessary process equipment. These are compressor suction drum and discharge drum of gas as well as tank for waste oil, drain tank with submersible pump, chemical dosing unit with a separate standing vessel, gas regulating and gas metering units, condensate gathering and rundown system, F&G system, monitor and automatic control system.

New CS compresses associated gas coming from the booster pump stations of Oil and Gas Production Department "Nizhnesortymskneft" and "Lyantorneft", and then it pumps APG under pressure of 1.3 MPa in the transport pipeline to gas turbine power plants of Muryaun, Yukyaun, Tromjegan and Lukyavinskoye fields.
CS of Muryaun field has already become the 18th "small" compressor station as one of facilities of UVSING. Most of these CS are used for offtake of associated gas from the end stages of separation of oil production facilities, that allows reach the maximum level of the rational use of APG. By the end of 2013 it amounted to 99.17% for all fields of Surgutneftegas.
