The booster compressor unit (BCU) supplied by ENERGAS was prepared for operation as part of the gas turbine power plant at the Gezh field (LUKOIL). However, the project for the commissioning of gas turbine power plant was mothballed, and since November 2011, the BCU has been transferred to long-term storage.



At present, a decision has been made to relocate the BCU to the East-Perevalnoye field of LLC LUKOIL-Western Siberia (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area). Here, the unit will operate at the site of a gas turbine power plant with capacity of 28 MW, the construction of which should be completed in the first quarter of this year.

It is planned to integrate BCU into the process diagram of launching the GTPP-28. Given the long downtime and changed operating conditions, the equipment will be upgraded.
