The GTPP of the Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field of LLC LUKOIL-West Siberia celebrated 10 years of uninterrupted operation
15 April 2019
The gas turbine power plant of the Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field passed 10-year milestone of uninterrupted operation. At the time of commissioning in April 2009, the 48 MW GTPP became the second (after the Vatyegan GTPP) facility of the own generating of LUKOIL in the territory of West Siberia.
The construction of the power plant was conducted since May 2008 under the Program for improving the reliability of power supply for the oil and gas production and gas processing companies of OJSC LUKOIL for 2008-2010. The launch of Tevlinsko-Russkinskaya GTPP completely eliminated the energy deficit in this large-scale field.
The GTPP-48, built by LLC LUKOIL-West Siberia, operates on associated petroleum gas. The turbines routinely consume about 100 million cubic meters of gas per year, which makes it possible to use efficiently a significant part of the APG produced here.
The plant includes four EGES-12S power generating units with a capacity of 12 MW each. The power units are based on GTU-12PG-2 gas turbine units, designed and manufactured by the Perm engine-builders: the companies UEC-Aviadvigatel and UEC-Perm Motors. Here the pairwise aggregates placement was used; in each turbine room there are symmetrically placed two power units (in "left" and "right" version).
A significant contribution to the reliability of GTPP-48 operation is made by the ENERGAS booster compressor station (BCS) of fuel gas. Three units of hangar type compress associated gas and feed it into turbines at a pressure of 2.7 MPa.

The aftertreatment of APG (2-step removal of liquid fraction and solid particles) at the inlet to each compressor is carried out by highly efficient coalescing filters-scrubbers equipped with automatic condensate drainage system. The efficiency of the filter elements is 100% for contaminations larger than 20 microns and 97% for particles 5 ... 20 microns in size.
The process flow diagram of the BCS also provides for a stable maintenance of the design gas feeding temperature to the power plant turbines. The unit capacity of the compressor units is 15,000 m3 / h; gas flow is controlled by a special two-level regulation system. Start of BCS was performed by specialists of ServicENERGAS (part of ENERGAS Group).

REFERENCE. Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye oil field is located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, 88 km north of the city of Surgut. Opened in 1971, development began in 1986. The development is being carried out by Kogalymneftegaz TPE – the largest territorial production enterprise of LLC LUKOIL-West Siberia.
