2 October 2019

As a part of Russian Energy Week-2019, a project of international triangular cooperation (Russia, Germany, Switzerland) in the field of renewable energy and education was launched based on the Moscow School-Lyceum No. 1502 affiliated with the National Research University MPEI.

The opening ceremony of this project was attended by representatives of the Embassies of Switzerland, Germany and the Goethe Institute in Moscow. The Russian side was represented by the National Research University MPEI, public and business structures, including ENERGAS Companies Group.

The main participants of the event, the teaching staff and students of the lyceum, were particularly interested in the German and Swiss setting of photovoltaic systems for educational purposes and for generating electricity for the needs of the school.

Thereby, a pilot project "Solar School: Photovoltaic Systems" is being implemented in Moscow. The expansion of this experience to other educational establishments in Russia and countries of Central Asia is planned for 2020. The main goal of the project is to introduce students to the use of renewable energy for the production of electricity using the example of solar energy.
