In the II quarter of 2018 in Elabuga (Republic of Tatarstan) is planned to put into operation a new thermal power plant, the construction of which is carried out at the site of a local heat network company. The modern GTU-TPP will operate in a cogeneration cycle and supply heat and electricity.
The generating equipment consists of four gas turbine units Solar of type Taurus 60 GS with a unit capacity of 5.6 MW and four hot-water waste-heat boilers. The installed electrical capacity of the station will be 23 MW; the thermal capacity - 28 Gcal / h.
The designer of the facility is LLC "Tatbelenergoproekt". Construction is conducted by the holding company IED-holding (investor of Elabuga Heat Network Company (HNC) since 2011).
Thanks to effective technology, it is possible significantly reduce the cost of produced heat. Elabuga HNC will be able to reduce the cost of buying electricity, thereby keeping the cost of thermal energy, and hence the growth of tariffs.
At present there is performed installation waste-heat boilers, chimneys, there is implemented installation of a 4.5 km gas pipeline, and there is supplied generating and auxiliary equipment.
For GTU-TPP, ENERGAS Company has supplied a comprehensive gas treatment system - a gas treatment unit (packaged gas purification unit - PGPU) and a booster compressor station. This process equipment will be put into operation by ENERGAS step by step.
