The ServicENERGAS Company has performed comprehensive maintenance of BCS which is operated as a part of the gas turbines test benches of "Nevsky Zavod"

Booster compressor station (BCS) feeds fuel gas of required purity and temperature to the testable gas turbines under operating pressure in the range of 1.5...4.3 MPa.Gas treatment equipment was developed on individual project – specially for operating in conditions of high intensity starts and stops under various duration of the GTU tests.
BCS has been operating since February 2016. Currently, the station passed comprehensive maintenance. Scheduled works were carried out by technical specialists of the ServicENERGAS LLC (companies group ENERGAS).
In the course of maintenance there were implemented:
- replacement of consumables (gas and oil filters, oil in the bearings of the motor);
- check the alignment of rotating units (compressor and motor);
- gaps measure and checking the status of the internal components of the compressor;
- adjustment and calibration of position sensors and positioning of valves and hydraulic controllers;
- functional tests of the oil system and cooling system of the compressor unit;
- verification of operational parameters and their adjustment;
- troubleshooting, drafting recommendations on components replacement.
REFERENCE. BCS of fuel gas was supplied and commissioned by the ENERGAS Group – within frames of gas turbines test benches upgrade.
Upon the completion of the project, CJSC Nevsky Zavod sent the company ENERGAS a letter of gratitude, which noted the high professionalism shown in the production, supply and preparation of equipment for commissioning.
Specialists of the "Nevsky Zavod" confirmed: BCS provides all the standards and requirements for the quality of fuel gas, which makes it possible to test gas turbines on schedule and in a timely manner. The letter also stressed that at all stages of cooperation, the employees of ENERGAS showed themselves as a qualified and reliable team that responds promptly to the wishes of the customer.
