Nevsky Zavod was the first in Russia to confirm the competence of its test benches in the INTERGAZSERT system

22 October 2018

Nevsky Zavod (REP Holding production site) confirmed the competence of the turbo-compressor equipment testing center in the INTERGAZSERT voluntary certification system as a certified equipment-testing laboratory.

The bench department of the Nevsky Zavod includes test benches for gas and steam turbines, centrifugal and axial compressors. They perform mechanical, gas dynamic and research tests of the equipment produced.

The competence recognition procedure was carried out by the VCS INTERGAZSERT expert group. Representatives of the certification body examined the documents confirming the certification, operability and technical capabilities of the benches of the Nevsky Zavod. The experts of INTERGAZSERT in the process of visual inspection of test bays also evaluated the technical condition of the benches. According to the results of this work, the plant was issued a certificate.

"Recognition of the Nevsky Zavod as a test center for turbo-compressor equipment," said Igor Vakhlakov, Quality Director of REP Holding JSC, "will allow us to recognize bench tests carried out at our site as certification in the INTERGAZSERT system. Nevsky Zavod was the first in Russia to confirm the competence and authority of its test benches in this system, which, of course, is our competitive advantage".

REFERENCE. In 2016, the upgrade of the Nevsky Zavod testing complex was completed. A new booster compressor station of fuel gas supplied by ENERGAS was commissioned as part of the project. BCS supplies fuel gas to the testable units with the required parameters in terms of purity, temperature, pressure and flow rate.

This gas treatment equipment was designed according to a special project – for operation in conditions of high intensity starts and shutdowns under various duration of the turbines tests.

REFERENCE. The system of voluntary certification (VCS) INTERGAZSERT was created on the international best practices basis of and it is designed to confirm the compliance of products, works, services and management systems with the requirements of the standards of PJSC Gazprom.
