At the GTPP of the Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field, the company ServicENERGAS completed the overhaul of the gas compressor unit

5 December 2018

At the site of the gas turbine power plant of the Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field of LLC LUKOIL-West Siberia, measures have been completed to restore the gas compressor unit (CU) operability.

This CU as part of a booster compressor station provides after-treatment and compression of associated petroleum gas used as fuel for GTPP turbines. Within the framework of the project, a major overhaul (with dismantling of equipment) of the main component of the CU – GEA Grasso oil-filled screw compressor has been implemented.

After the restoration work and assembly, re-commissioning and own tests of the compressor unit were carried out. The overhaul was completed with a 72-hour integrated functional check of the equipment as part of the facility. According to the results of testing, CU has been commissioned.

All the works were performed by experts of the service and technical company of the ENERGAS Group. ServicENERGAS LLC implements the principle of professional specialization. At the enterprise, 4 subdivisions are acting in concert: the building and assembly department; launch department; service department; repair service.

Mobile engineering teams are based in Moscow, Belgorod and Surgut. This makes it possible to carry out scheduled activities in a timely manner and respond promptly in case of emergencies. Only in 2018, more than 150 visits were made to work at various sites, including remote and hard-to-reach (in the Far North, the Far East, etc.). ServicENERGAS specialists have a unique experience in the implementation of projects at especially dangerous and technically complex objects.

REFERENCE. The gas turbine power plant was commissioned at the Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field in April 2009. The launch of its own generation facility eliminated the energy deficit in this large-scale field.

The GTPP turbines routinely consume about 100 million cubic meters of gas per year, which makes it possible to use efficiently a significant part of the associated gas produced here. The installed capacity of the plant is 48 MW. GTPP includes four EGES-12S-01 power generating units based on GTU-12PG-2 gas turbines produced by UEC-Aviadvigatel JSC.

Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye oil field is located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, 88 km north of the city of Surgut. Opened in 1971, development began in 1986. The development is being carried out by Kogalymneftegaz TPE – the largest territorial production enterprise of LLC LUKOIL-West Siberia.
