In the line of equipment manufactured by "Nevsky Zavod" (part of "REP Holding") there are gas turbine units (GTU) with various capacity. Before shipment to customers GTU are tested for operability at the factory test benches.

At present there is completed upgrade of test benches. Within frames of this project there has been commissioned booster compressor station (BCS) which was supplied by the company ENERGAS. BCS of type EGSI-S-190/1500W feeds gas of required purity and temperature to the tested gas turbines under operating pressure in the range of 1.5...4.3 MPa.

BCS is a packaged unit in weatherproof sound-absorbing shelter; it is equipped with systems of working and emergency lighting, heating and ventilation; gas detection and fire fighting systems; individual oil feeding system.

Gas treatment equipment was developed on special project and is designed for operating in conditions of high intensity starts and stops and various duration of the GTU tests.



Filtration module provides accordance of fuel to the set parameters: the content of mechanical impurities in gas at the BCS outlet - no more 2 mg / kg; the degree of purification from condensed moisture and solids larger than 10 microns - 100%.

Capacity of BCS varies up to 11,000 m3 / h and is adjusted by regulation system with two levels: in range of 15…100% by the function of compressor spool regulation; in range of 0…15% by the bypass line with valves.

Automated control system (ACS) supports compressor station in operation mode and provides the required operating parameters, including parameters of oil, gas and coolant. ACS is integrated with the upper level of APCS. Control compartment is placed inside the block-module of BCS and is separated from the process part by gas-tight fire-resistant partition.

Erection supervision, start-up works and pre-starting individual tests of equipment were performed by the engineers of ServicENERGAS LLC (companies group ENERGAS).

Acceptance testing of the BCS has been carried out in conjunction with gas turbine manufactured by CJSC Nevsky Zavod with capacity of 16 MW. In the course of verification, the BCS has worked in a routine mode, flawlessly.



It should be noted that in recent years experts of the company ENERGAS also have equipped test benches for gas turbines of PJSC Proton-Perm Motors and JSC UEC-Gas Turbines with the similar compressor stations.
