One of the priority tasks of LUKOIL-Western Siberia LLC is the development of fields of Bolshekhetskaya Depression which is a prospective area with proven oil and gas content. At the same time there is solved a problem of associated petroleum gas. For rational use of low pressure APG, the transport system of liquid hydrocarbons has been equipped with the low-pressure compressor station (CS).

Since October 2016, this CS, located at the site of acceptance point, has been providing aftertreatment and compression of APG incoming from the end separation facility. Compressed gas is injected into the transport pipeline under pressure of 0.6 MPa.

Compressor station, which was supplied by the ENERGAS, is a packaged unit with maximum integration of the all assemblies and components on a single frame. The equipment is devised to accommodate the wide ambient temperature range (-60…+32°С); it is equipped with life support and safety systems.



CS was made based on screw oil-filled compressor and fully automated. The maximum volume capacity of station is 900 m3 / h, gas flow rate is controlled in the range from 0 to 100% using a special two-circuit regulation system.

The purification of APG entering the compressor (two-step removal of liquid fraction and solid particles) is carried out by highly efficient coalescing filter-scrubber. The scrubber is equipped with an automatic drainage, a tank for condensate discharge and a warning system for filter elements contamination.

To measure compressed APG amount, station was additionally equipped with two-lines gas metering module with flow meters.

CS works in a routine mode, flawlessly. The thorough engineering and high-quality manufacturing ensured the high reliability of the process unit and the efficiency of its operation in the severe conditions of Yamal.
