The 10th anniversary of power generation for Tomskneft facilities was celebrated by Igolsko-Talovaya GTPP-12 operating using associated gas

Since July 2011, an auxiliary power plant has been operating at the Igolsko-Talovoye field of JSC Tomskneft VNK, which supplies energy to the infrastructure and process facilities of the Vasyugan group of fields.
Generation is ensured here by two block-container GTA-6RM gas turbine units with a unit capacity of 6 MW, manufactured and commissioned by the Saturn - Gas Turbines (now JSC UEC - Gas Turbines). The basis of the GTA-6RM is the GTD-6RM drive and the TK-6-2RUKHL3 generator.
GТD-6RМ – the two-shaft gas turbines, specially designed for low-to-medium capacity power plants. They were created based on upgraded aircraft engines of the D30KU/KP family, the most popular and most reliable engines for passenger and transport aircraft in Soviet and Russian aviation history. GTD-6RM drives are manufactured by the UEC-Saturn engine-building company.
Gas turbine power plant operates in a simple cycle (without heat recovery) and is characterized by autonomy – the distance to the nearest settlement is about 650 km. The fuel is associated petroleum gas mainly from the Igolsko-Talovoye, Karayskoye and Tagayskoye oil fields of the Tomsk Region.
Final purification, compression of up to 2.5 MPa and feeding of APG to turbines are carried out by a compressor station in hangar (intrashop) version. The CS consists of two ENERGAS gas booster units with screw oil-filled compressors with the volume capacity of 5,895 m3 / h each.
The project for the construction of a 12 MW GTPP became an important stage in implementing the strategic gas program of Tomskneft, and made it possible to fully use the potential of the region's fields while solving a number of significant tasks. The launch of the GTPP-12 ensured a large-scale development of production activities at Vasyugan, increased the rational use of APG and, accordingly, the efficiency of oil and gas production, helped reduce the stress on the environment and improve the ecological situation at the fields.

JSC Tomskneft VNK carries out oil and gas production at 32 licensed sites in the Tomsk Region and the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, as well as at three sites of Rosneft Oil Company as an operator. Among the most significant fields are Nizhnevartovsk, Strezhevskoye, Vakhskoye, Luginetskoye, Olenye, Sovietskoye, Krapivinskoye, Dvurechenskoye, Igolsko-Talovoye, Pervomaiskoye. Rosneft and Gazprom Neft equally control the company.
