At the Barsukovskoye field there is initiated starting-up and adjustment of fuel gas treatment facility for the autonomous power supply complex
26 June 2019Barsukovskoye field, located in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, is developed by LLC RN-Purneftegaz (Rosneft). The autonomous power supply complex built here consists of 10 Cummins gas-reciprocating units with electric capacity of 1.5 MW and it is designed to supply infrastructure and process facilities of the field with electrical energy. Owner of gas-reciprocating power plant is Alliance Generation LLC.
The fuel is associated petroleum gas. Its design parameters for purity, temperature, pressure and flow will be provided by the fuel gas treatment facility (FGTF) of ENERGAS. FGTF is multifunctional complex, which comprises the following process equipment:
- Gas filtration system with two-stage coalescent filters, purification rate is 100% for the liquid fraction and 99.9% for solid particles larger than 2 microns;
- Condensate drainage module with 10 m3 underground tank;
- Gas metering subassembly with ultrasonic flow meters;
- Gas preheating module based on a shell-and-tube heat exchanger;
- Bilinear reduction system;
- Packaged boiler room for the treatment of the heat carrier, including two boilers with a total thermal capacity of 0.19 MW.
At present, the facility has been mounted at the site of operation. FGTF’s block-boxes with equipment for various purposes have been installed and fixed on the foundation as well as docked together in a single compact building with a common roof. There is completed assembling of large units inside process compartments.
Specialists of ServicENERGAS (part of ENERGAS Group) have begun the start-up and adjustment works. The FGTF commissioning will take place after own testing, 72-hours integrated operability check as a part of the gas-reciprocating power plant, training of operating personnel.
Multifunctional complex is equipped with necessary engineering systems, including life support systems (heating, ventilation and lighting) and safety (fire detection, gas detection, alarm and fire fighting).
Fuel gas treatment facility is fully automated. The automated control systems implement launch (and preparation for start), shutdown, and maintaining the optimal operation mode; they control the process parameters; they provide automatic protection and alarm system; they handle the parameters of the workflow and emergency events with the issuance of information via a standard exchange protocol.
The local ACS is placed in a special compartment separated from the FGTF process part by gas-tight fire-resistant partition. ACS is integrated with the upper level of APCS of the power supply complex and it provides remote equipment control, indoor gas hazard monitoring, output of status information for all elements and systems to the operator panel.
Gas pressure at the FGTF inlet is 0.5...0.8 MPa, at the outlet is 0.3 MPa. The rated capacity of the unit is 5,000 m3 / h. Coefficient of operational reliability is 0.99. Assigned resource (lifetime) is 30 years.
REFERENCE. LLC RN-Purneftegaz is developing oil and gas fields in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area. Production Association Purneftegaz was founded in 1986 to develop a group of fields in the circumpolar zone of the YNAA. In 1995, the company became part of the Rosneft Oil Company. The reserves of Purneftegaz are highly concentrated, more than 70% of oil and gas condensate reserves are concentrated in four fields – Komsomolskoye, Kharampurskoye, Tarasovskoye and Barsukovskoye.
